US President George W. Bush intends to attack Iran in the upcoming months, before the end of his term, Army Radio quoted officials in Jerusalem as saying Tuesday. The official claimed that a senior member of the president's entourage said during a closed meeting that Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney were of the opinion that military action was called for. Exclusive from US sources: Washington urged Israel to seize opportunity and clobber Iran-backed Hizballah

DEBKAfile’s US sources disclose that Saturday, May 10, Washington gave Israel the go-ahead to attack Hizballah during its takeover of Beirut and knock out its capabilities in the south. The IDF was given the chance to punch a hole through one of the four hostile fronts ranged against Israel and so give pause to the second hostile force, Hamas in Gaza. McCain Gets A Pass on Foreign Policy

John McCain is an idiot. He knows nothing about foreign policy beyond the talking points he gets from the AEI. No matter what the question is, he gets it wrong. And no matter how wrong he gets it, the press in this country will always defer to his expertise, just because he was a POW one hell of an irrelevant long ass time ago. Here's John McCain saying the U.S. would have to deal with Hamas because they were the elected government of Palestine: And here is his spokeslady explaining that he...

Meet Menshevik McCain

Deep, deep down in his heart, John McCain believes in Communism (Just so long as he's the Premiere). Anyone who believes that "National Service" will be "voluntary" at the end of his first term will find themselves working for free and quite disappointed. As though the government is a cause greater than me; yeah right. Thanks to Butler Shaffer.

Obama Misses a Golden Opportunity- Again

As was the case with his earlier exchange with John McCain regarding "al Qaeda in Iraq", Barack Obama was served up a another softball by the Republican Party, and couldn't hit it out of the park. Hell, Obama barely could bunt back to the pitcher's mound . When Bush made a thinly veiled reference to Obama during his speech in Israel as an appeaser of terrorists, Obama's lame response was that he has stated "over and over again that I will not negotiate with terrorists like Hamas." Obama could...
