Blackwater ? Paid by whom ? Much worse is the US deployment of missiles in Romania, Poland and on 32 ships in the Mediterranean Sea, 4 ships now stationed in Cadiz. Missile engineer Bob Aldridge-www.plrc.org on the missiles: “Whether they are on ships or land, they are still a necessary component for an unanswerable first strike.” Professor J. Ed Anderson: “There is no doubt in my mind that deployment of anti-missile missiles in Eastern Europe is part of a first-strike strategy.” Claus Eric Hamle on July 2, 2014 at 4:39 pm A clue to the extreme insanity in the Pentagon: Why did they put the MX warhead on Minuteman-3 instead of a new and more advanced warhead ? Remember that the MX missile was called Peacekeeper, supposedly to avoid a Russian first strike! And now it turns out that the MX warhead-like the D5 warhead on Trident-2- is designed to minimize nuclear winter effects if used against missile silos-Professor Paul Rogers. Bob Aldridge wrote a 6-page-article on Minuteman-3 as a-state-of-the-art-first strike-weapon with the MX warhead. 1-3 % casualties in United Bluff – and without Nuclear Winter ! For that reason General Harbottle stated in a radio program I made with him in his London office: “THEY ARE BLOODY FOOLS IN THE PENTAGON !” The great missile engineer Bob Aldridge-www.plrc.org resigned because it’s suicidal to aim to achieve a disarming first strike capability. Stupid, crazy, suicidal bloody fools in the Pentagon ! There is no defense against Launch On Warning. Mutually Assured Suicide. Bloody fools. What else can they do but Launch On Warning ??? That means chess mate, SUICIDE, Adiós. Randy on July 2, 2014 at 6:32 pm I just hope America’s enemies realize that neocons tend to live in certain states like Virginia, Texas, the Carolinas and Arizona. Peace-loving Americans live in the “blue” states. Kolokol on July 2, 2014 at 8:41 pm Re impeachment vote. Is this no longer true? “The RFE/RL story reports that “A majority of 328 lawmakers of the 450-seat parliament voted on February 22 to remove Yanukovych from power.” It goes on to observe that the constitution calls for “a review of the case by Ukraine’s Constitutional Court and a three-fourths majority vote by the Verkhovna Rada — i.e., 338 lawmakers.” That vote margin didn’t materialize, and the required court review never took place.” http://us-russia.org/2174-reveals-ukraine-regime-illegitimate.html Ronald Johnson on July 3, 2014 at 5:30 pm Ukraine has an Army, numbering approximately 175,000, consisting mostly of “National Guard” units and having a desultory Air Force, mostly of a few jet-fighters and more helicopters to transport troops. Its “mechanized units” are mostly troop-transports and artillery pieces and a smattering of tanks (that cannot face-off with Russian first-line tanks). What happens if Putin sends in his 75,000 + seasoned, Stasi Army troops, backed-up by “Back-Fire Bombers”, Ground-Assault Jet-fighters, and mechanized forces of tanks, artillery, troop-transports ??? Ukraine is isolated politically and militarily. It has no affiliation with NATO, US treaty alliance, or help from neighbors. It has remained free since 1954 with Russia’s “good graces” until Putin made designs upon it for territorial expansion. If Putin “goes over the line” by crossing Ukraine’s eastern border, who will stop them, and how ??? What are the consequences, then ???
