04/07/14 – Seymour Hersh – The Scott Horton Show

Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh discusses his article on the Pentagon’s skepticism about going to war in Syria following the Sarin gas attack in August 2013; evidence that the attack was carried out by Turkish-backed rebels, not the Assad government; and why Obama backed down on his “red line” in Syria after going full-bore in Libya.

The most important for Russia is to be certain not to die alone. So, the missiles in Romania, Poland and on 32 ships in the Mediterranean Sea (Missile engineer Bob Aldridge-www.plrc.org: Whether they are on ships or land, they are still a necessary component for an unanswerable first strike. This leads to Launch On Warning, probably by 2017. Instead of Disarming First Strike Capability, we’ll get Mutually Assured Suicide=Launch On Warning.

The Turks lied because they want to start a war with Syria.
If the Syrians really had chemical weapons, Turkey and other nations would not want war because the Syrians would use those weapons against them. Turkey opposed the Iraq War when “W” was president but supported the war in Libya under Obama and wants war with Syria and Iran.

I think that it’s important to remember that before 2011, NATO member Turkey seemed to have pretty good relations with the Assad regime. It wasn’t until Turkey started hosting bases for the Syrian rebels that Erdo─čan and Assad became bitter enemies. The turning point seemed to be in March 2011, when US Ambassaor Robert Ford was openly supporting an uprising against Assad supposedly to promote “democracy.” Then the Western powers declared that Assad had to go. By 2011, US, British, and French special forces, with the MI6 & CIA, were training the FSA on bases in Turkey: http://www.eliteukforces.info/uk-military-news/0501012-british-special-forces-syria.php. Why? For a start: “The Oil & Gas Journal reported that Syria held proved reserves of 8.5 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of natural gas as of January 2014.” http://www.eia.gov/countries/cab.cfm?fips=SY

For more interesting info on the Turkey connection you guys should check out the work done by James Corbett and Sibel Edmonds on the GLADIO program, particularly GLADIO B, the hang-back program implemented in Eastern Europe and the Mid East and Caucuses after the Cold War ended.

It’s too much to get into right here, and I’m not even sure if I fully grasp all of its implications, but just Google GLADIO along with Corbett or Sibel Edmonds, that should bring ya some results.
