War Party Tries to Blame Next Guy for Giving Iraq to Iran

But you and I remember that it was Bush and Cheney who installed the Supreme Islamic Council of Abdul Aziz al Hakim and the Iranian revolutionary guard and has been supporting them all along.

Well, in case you haven’t been able to learn that up until now… Here’s some Gareth Porter for you.

Also, Iranian intelligence asset John McCain‘s handler, Ahmad “Hero in error” Chalabi, is suspected by the Defense Intelligence Agency of using his unwitting dupes – like McCain, Richard Perle, Harold Rhode, etc. – to help lie the people of this country into war on behalf of Iran (while promising said dupes that the new Iraq would be a great friend to Israel). He gave Iran the good intelligence that the NSA had broken their codes. That much is certain.

And then there’s the new phase II report which seems to indicate that the Iranians were pushing a story on Michael Ledeen through his buddy Gorbanifar at the meetings in Rome in the early days after September 11th that Iraq and Iraq were somehow working together on WMD.

Don’t forget how the U.S. has actively assisted the Iranian party death squads “cleansing” of Sunni Arabs from Baghdad all these years.

There will always be plenty of things to blame Borat Obombya for, but waging a war in Iraq on behalf of Iran will always be the legacy of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.
