Karen Kwiatkowski and Gareth Porter will be the featured guests on the Scott Horton Show at Antiwar Radio, Friday, June 13th .

Karen Kwiatkowski will be discussing radicalism and the decline of empire, the rise of the police state in the United States and the deceptions of the Pentagon and Dick Cheney at 12:15PM Eastern.

Gareth Porter will be discussing his recent article on Antiwar.com, ‘Fearing Esclation, Pentagon Fought Cheney Iran Plan’ at 1:15PM Eastern.

LRC columnist Karen Kwiatkowski, Ph.D., a retired USAF lieutenant colonel, has written on defense issues with a libertarian perspective for MilitaryWeek.com, hosted the call-in radio show American Forum, and blogs occasionally for Huffingtonpost.com and Liberty and Power.

Dr. Gareth Porter is an investigative historian and journalist on U.S. national security policy who has been independent since a brief period of university teaching in the 1980s. Dr. Porter is the author of four books, the latest of which is Perils of Dominance: Imbalance of Power and the Road to War in Vietnam. He has written regularly for Inter Press Service on U.S. policy toward Iraq and Iran since 2005.

Scott Horton will be presenting a speech at the State Convention of the Libertarian Party of Texas in Forth Worth, Texas, Saturday, June 14th, at 3:00PM. Horton will also appear as a guest on the ‘Debbie Daily’ Show on KMAJ 1440 Talk Radio in Topeka, Kansas on Tuesday, June 17th, at 9:30AM Central Time.
