I'm the director of the Libertarian Institute, editorial director of Antiwar.com, author of the book Fool's Errand, Time to End the War in Afghanistan, and the brand new Enough Already, Time to End the War on Terrorism, and I've recorded more than 5,500 interviews since 2003, almost all on foreign policy, and all available for you at scotthorton.org.
You can sign up for the podcast feed there, and the full interview archive is also available at youtube.com slash scotthortonshow.
All right, you guys, introducing Dave Smith.
Of course, he's the host of Part of the Problem, and he stands on stages and tells jokes at people.
Welcome back to the show.
How are you doing, Dave?
Doing good.
Good to see you, sir.
Very happy to have you here, man.
Hey, is it true that you and I are doing an event this Friday night in Pittsburgh?
I think the term event does not capture how significant a moment it will be, not since the Declaration of Independence.
Has Pennsylvania seen anything like what is going to take Pittsburgh?
Yeah, the Mises Caucus, the big bash.
Cool.
All right, so it's at the Doubletree Pittsburgh Green Tree, and that's at 500 Mansfield Avenue.
And the event starts, I think they said, at 7 o'clock, or doors open at 7, and show starts at 8 o'clock.
And you can find out all about it at lpmisescaucus.com slash bash.lpmisescaucus.com slash bash.
And of course, in addition to me and you giving speeches and having some fun there, we're going to be hanging out.
It's going to be a party, and it'll be a great time for people who believe in the whole human liberty thing to mingle and meet each other and have some fun.
That's right.
And then guess what?
The next morning, everybody's going to the Libertarian Party State Convention and voting on a bunch of things.
So that could be really important for Pennsylvanians to turn out to and help support.
Absolutely.
100%.
Friday night, we party.
Saturday morning, we get down to business.
There you go.
And then Saturday night, all have left on a plane.
But Anthony Sameroff, Michael Rechtenwald, and Jeff Deist are headlining an event on Saturday night, too.
So it's going to be a full Mises Caucus party weekend there in Pittsburgh.
That's right.
And literally everybody speaking is just really interesting and like some great people.
So come out to this thing.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
It's going to be really educational with the exception of me.
I'll just be fun.
But everybody else you'll learn a bunch from.
Hell yeah.
It's going to be great.
All right, you guys.
That's the Doubletree Pittsburgh Green Tree at 500 Mansfield Avenue.
And we'll see you there on Friday.
Thanks, Dave.
Thank you, Scott.
