01/15/15 – Barry Lando – The Scott Horton Show

Barry Lando, a former 60 Minutes producer and author of Web of Deceit, discusses how the US’s diplomatic blunders helped start the Gulf War, 24 years ago today; why George H.W. Bush is responsible for the tens of thousands of Iraqis who tried to rise up and overthrow Saddam Hussein; and how the war continues to shape the Middle East, US foreign policy, and the War on Terror.

So many people say George H Warmonger bush was a much better president than G Warmonger Bush because he did not overthrow Saddam Hussein. He kept bombing Iraq for the rest of his presidency. The entire nation was in ruins, the water supply was destroyed and people were starving. GHW Bush also invaded Panama and the media said very little about the casualties. The USA & Britain kept bombing Iraq until the Second Iraq War was officially over. Now, they and many other nations have started a third war there and a first war in Syria.

During the invasion of Panama about 6,000 unarmed civilians were killed according to an American investigation led by a former Secretary of Justice. Only France protested a bit. About 6,000 unarmed civilians just for the fun of it. Bloody, crazy Americans !
