Antiwar Radio: Charles Goyette

Charles Goyette, the most independent talk show host in America, discusses the current financial crisis, the idiocy of the bailout and the media’s support of it, the cost of war, the fault of the Fed in the crisis, know-nothing madman John McCain, the end of the republic and those horrible warfare/welfare statists who dare to call themselves libertarians.

Scott, it should be obvious why lots of people don’t like Walmart: they are a monopoly! Private Communism in other words. They have no more use for competition from small business than the old Soviet Union.

I live in China. China’s flaws are well known, but there are some good points about life here, too. One of them is that anyone can start a small store and earn a living. You can’t do that in America: Walmart and other semi-monopoly outfits prevent it in all kinds of anti-competitive ways. Likewise, anyone can buy daily needs within an easy walk of their home. Walmart and automobile addiction prevent it. You can buy fresh vegetables easily, because farmers’ markets are open 7 days a week, dawn to dark. Not in good old Walmartistan! Campaign contributions lead to zoning laws eliminating competition.
